Job summary

Unipart in Nuneaton is seeking a Blue Yonder Technical Lead to oversee application development and operational stability for specialist clients. You will partner with the Head of Supply Chain Technology to shape the BY Dispatcher strategy, drive solution architecture, and mentor the development team while ensuring system availability during major incidents, including on-call rotations.

The role requires deep Blue Yonder Dispatcher expertise, strong Oracle PL/SQL, Linux, and cloud experience

Qualifications

Extensive experience configuring, architecting, and implementing Blue Yonder Dispatcher solutions (essential across multiple versions).
Deep domain knowledge in logistics and warehousing with WMS understanding.
Strong Oracle PL/SQL and SQL skills; shell scripting.
Proficiency in Linux OS and cloud management (AWS or Azure).
Experience leading large IT/software projects using Agile, handling incident escalations (ITIL), and performing RCA.
Excellent communication to translate technical concepts for stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Translate requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
Lead technical delivery, code reviews, and release management across environments.
Act as primary technical liaison with Blue Yonder vendor for core products and custom code.
Lead major incident resolution and post-incident RCA to implement corrective actions.
Oversee integration of Blue Yonder with external systems and third‑party software.
