This role will involve working on the daily dispatch of medications and test kits to our patients from our non-patient-facing pharmacy and warehouse based in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will also be assisting our pharmacy team with tasks around the office.

This is a great opportunity to work alongside our team to build the best service offering for our patients.

Key Accountabilities:

This includes lifting and placing trays of ice packs (approx. 20kg) into freezers. You must be physically capable of safely lifting this stock. Manual handling training will be provided.
  • You will further assist the pharmacy team where needed. This includes tasks such as prepping non-prescription items to be placed in our deliveries and making up boxes.
  • You will assist the facilities manager with any manual handling tasks around the office, e.g. moving, building and breaking down of furniture.
  • You will further assist the pharmacy manager where needed with daily tasks around the office, such as sorting mail and putting away groceries.
  • You will be fully trained as a first aider and fire warden.

Technical Skills:

  • Be physically capable of handling heavy items.
  • You are diligent, show close attention to detail, and be familiar with working on high-volume repetitive tasks at scale.
  • Have a good understanding of data protection.
  • Be experienced with the use of a computer.
  • Have a good standard of spoken and written English.

Personal Qualities:

  • Have the ability to work accurately and efficiently, and have the confidence and communication skills to work with a team.
  • You can use your initiative to step in and assist other teams where needed and can appropriately prioritise tasks in busy periods.
  • You strive for and help others achieve high standards. You are instrumental in communicating, collaborating and interacting with other teams to ensure that the service provided to our patients is excellent.

Humble, you listen and take on feedback, and you are kind and caring to those around you.

Inquisitive; you question the status quo, dare to do things differently and explore the possibilities.
