Job summary

Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co., based in Hull, is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Despatch Operatives to join its busy sausage manufacturing team.

You will be responsible for completing daily picking sheets, rotating stock and ensuring orders are dispatched in the correct order. The role includes loading/unloading, audits, and communicating shortages while aiming to meet daily targets within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Good level of written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Be organised and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Complete the requirements of the daily picking sheet distributed by the Despatch Area Lead.
• Undertake stock rotation; dispatching finished stock in the correct picking order.
• Load and unload products on to and from vehicles as instructed.
• Assist during internal / external audits as required.
• Communicate stock shortages to the Despatch Area Lead after completing the orders of each customer.
• Achieve daily departmental targets as determined by your line manager.

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off - 12-hour shifts

PAY RATES

• Days (06:00-18:00): £13.49 per hour
• Nights (18:00-06:00): £14.99 per hour
