Ad Warrior Ltd is seeking a Dispatch Operative to join our Doncaster team. You will ensure accurate, safe, and efficient dispatch of poultry products, handling packing, loading and traceability in a busy production setting.

The role requires a PPT Licence, reliability and careful attention to detail while working in a live-animal environment. You will follow food-safety procedures and company policies to maintain quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Experience in live-animal production environments.
• PPT Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Pick, prepare and assemble orders according to dispatch schedules.
• Verify quantities, labels, batch codes and customer requirements.
• Ensure accurate and on-time dispatch of products.
• Load vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Complete dispatch documentation accurately and timely.
• Carry out safety checks on equipment before use and after.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and proper operation of machinery.
• Operate PPTs, EPTs and FLTs safely.
• Maintain product integrity and traceability through the dispatch process.
• Follow HACCP, safety and hygiene procedures.

Dispatch Operative

Location: Doncaster, DN8 5JT

Salary: £13.80 per hour

Job Description:

To ensure the accurate, safe, and efficient dispatch of poultry products in accordance with customer specifications, company procedures, food safety standards, and legal requirements. The Dispatch Operative is responsible for preparing, checking, loading and dispatching products while maintaining traceability, product quality and stock accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick, prepare, and assemble customers orders in accordance with dispatch schedules and specifications
• Verify product quantities, labels, batch codes and customer requirements before dispatch.
• Ensure all products are dispatched accurately and on time.
• Load vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and transport regulations.
• Complete all dispatch documentation accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with processes.
• Complete all safety checks on equipment prior to use and check after for damage.
• Ensure waste is disposed of safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and legal requirement.
• Take responsibility for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly working environment, including the proper care and operation of machinery and equipment within your designated work area.
• Safe Operation of PPTs, EPTS and FLTs.

Food Safety and Quality

• Maintain product integrity and ensure the cold chain is always maintained.
• Follow all Food Safety, HACCP, Quality and Hygiene Procedures.
• Report and product quality concerns, damaged goods or discrepancies immediately to management.
• Ensure full product traceability throughout the dispatch process.

Health and Safety

• Adhere to all Health & Safety and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and only do so if trained and authorised to do so.
• Always wear appropriate PPE.
• Report hazards, accidents, near misses and unsafe conditions promptly.

Skills & Experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good attention to detail and awareness of animal welfare
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Comfortable working in a production environment involving live animals
• PPT Licence
