First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking aDispatch Operative to join their team in Daventry.

Since 1984, my client has been supplying wheel and tyre assemblies to OEM manufacturers of everything, from wheelbarrows to high performance sport cars.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick products, ready to be wrapped & dispatched, via handheld scanner.
  • Prepare items for shipment, verifying order accuracy.
  • Pack products ensuring secure and safe packaging.
  • Assist with inventory management, monitoring stock levels, and organising the warehouse.
  • Inspect products for quality, ensuring they meet company standards.
  • Coordinate with Dispatch manager for timely dispatch, preparing and labelling packages.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, using PPE and following safe practices.
  • Keep the workspace clean and organised, assisting with general workshop duties.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and support other areas as needed.
  • Participate in training and provide feedback for process improvements.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • FLT: Counterbalance, Reach, Order Picker.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Able to work alone and within a team.
  • The successful induvial will be hands on, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
