A well-established food manufacturing company, supplying some of the biggest retailers across the UK & Ireland, is looking for a Dispatch Manager to take ownership of their warehouse and dispatch operations. This role is critical in ensuring fresh and chilled products are stored efficiently, handled with care, and delivered accurately and on time to meet customer demands.

You'll be responsible for leading a high-performing team, driving operational excellence, and ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety, and stock accuracy standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, team development, and process improvement, with the scope to make a real impact on a growing business.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing all Dispatch operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with Food Safety & Health and Safety standards.
  • Leading a high-performing team, driving productivity, and developing staff through coaching and mentoring.
  • Ensuring 100% stock accuracy, maintaining meticulous records and overseeing daily stock takes.
  • Optimising Warehouse Management Systems and seeking ways to improve operations.
  • Maintaining an audit-ready department with a strong focus on housekeeping and compliance.
  • Problem-solving and addressing internal and external customer complaints.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in Dispatch within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office skills.
  • A proven leader, confident in driving performance and developing teams.
  • The ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Experience in a lean working environment.
  • MHE licences or auditor training.
  • Level 3 accreditation in Health & Safety and Food Safety
