Rugby based - remote location - transport required

Temporary to Permanent

Monday to Friday 45 hours per week - days

Our large distribution client in Rugby is seeking a proactive, reliable, capable individual who is looking for a career in logistics. If you are keen to learn and are looking for real progression then this could be the perfect role for you!

This role would start out as a Despatch Clerk -

  • Dealing with drivers and their paperwork
  • Utilising customer systems to update despatch and delivery information where required
  • Liaise with drivers on the day of delivery
  • Keeping the customer up to date
  • General admin and data entry

The role will then progress onto a Planner role:

  • To provide a plan that deploys the allocated resource pool in the most effective way
  • Completing depot logs
  • Check resource availability for shift
  • Confirm Driver Start times
  • Managing Driver hours

Person Spec:

  • Must be reliable
  • Previous customer service experience within an office
  • Excellent IT skills - the ability to pick up systems easily
  • A confident communicator
  • A proactive, flexible outlook
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
