Leading production business based in Burnley is now looking to recruit on a permanent basis for a Dispatch Administrator due to company growth. This company prides itself on its comprehensive range of products, unparalleled support, and excellent service. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within a progressive business offering career development.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 7am – 3pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Your new role

As a Dispatch Administrator, your duties will include:

  1. Monitor incoming orders from multiple sales channels.
  2. Verify order details, including shipping address, payment confirmation, and stock availability.
  3. Allocate orders to appropriate warehouses, couriers, or third-party logistics partners.
  4. Ensure same-day or next-day dispatch according to the company's shipping policies.
  5. Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure accurate and efficient picking, packing, and dispatching of orders.
  6. Book and schedule collections with courier partners.
  7. Generate and print shipping labels, invoices, and packing slips from seller platforms and order management systems.
  8. Monitor stock levels to prevent overselling and cancellations.
  9. Collaborate with the procurement team for timely reordering of popular products.
  10. Track and analyze dispatch and delivery performance.
  11. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance shipping efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience in operations, dispatch coordination, logistics, or production.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, inventory management tools, and order tracking systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
What you'll get in return

In return, you will be paid a competitive annual salary of £23,800 - £26,000 depending on experience and will join a successful, growing business during an exciting period.
