Job summary

A leading travel service provider in London is seeking a Business Development Manager to acquire new business within European markets, particularly the DACH region. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of B2B sales experience and fluency in both English and German. This full-time position requires extensive travel and offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team focused on delivering excellent travel products and services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor degree or equivalent working experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in B2B development/sales with a proven track record.
  • Contacts in the B2B Asia & Americas space would be a strong advantage.

About the Opportunity

The role of the Business Development Manager is to acquire new business within European markets with a focus on the DACH market in accordance to set targets. They create new sales opportunities by identifying target markets and focus on key business areas via means of corporate networking, client profiling and cold calling. They present Discova products and services in a compelling financial and operational offering in order develop new customers and sell additional products, services and destinations to existing ones.

About you

  • Minimum Bachelor degree or equivalent working experience - Degree in tourism and hospitality is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years' experience Sales with solid track record of successful B2B development/sales - (sales experience in the travel industry is a plus).
  • Contacts in the B2B Asia & Americas space would be a strong advantage
  • Experience working in the countries they are responsible for.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German
  • Ability to travel extensively monthly throughout the regions of responsibility and returning back to head office.
