Job overview
We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and creative Band CAMHS Practitioners to join our Core CAMHS Team.
We are a multi-disciplinary team offering a diverse range of professional approaches, including Family Therapy, Nursing, Occupational therapy, Psychology, Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, Social work, and Mental health Practitioners. We work with young people experiencing moderate to severe emotional, behavioural, or mental health difficulties. As a team, we believe that service user participation and feedback are integral to the development and delivery of services, supporting care that is person-centered and inclusive.
You will have a strong team work ethic, the ability to work autonomously, hold personal accountability, and work well under pressure. You will have access to regular individual and group clinical supervision, CPD opportunities both within and outside of the service, and the support of a robust multidisciplinary team. You will also support the team to ensure the smooth running and organization of the service, contributing to research, evaluation, and service development to ensure care is responsive, effective, and equitable.
Main duties of the job
As a CAMHS practitioner, you will primarily work within a clinical setting in our outpatient clinic, but may also be required to provide support in other environments such as home, education, or community settings to meet the needs of children and young people.
Your role will be to deliver high-quality care that empowers children and young people, supports their recovery journey, and involves them in service development and care planning. You will work as an integral member of the CAMHS locality team, providing assessments, interventions, and care coordination to children, young people, families, and carers. You will adopt a positive approach to care delivery, valuing creative and flexible working in partnership with service users, their networks, and wider professional teams.
If you seek a new challenge, enjoy variety in your work, and wish to be part of a team making a difference for children, young people, and families, we would love to hear from you. We will provide the necessary support and guidance to foster your development within this role.
