We have an exciting opportunity to join the bank as a Disaster Recovery Senior Analyst. The Senior Analyst will support the Head of Disaster Recovery to drive the vision, direction and align Santander UK’s Disaster Recovery strategy and will ensure we continue to service our customers in the event of the unexpected. You will support the delivery of the DR strategy and improvements to the DR testing. This will encompass both On and Off premise infrastructure and the corresponding Business Services.
Here you’ll leverage traditional best practices to optimise agility as part of Digital Transformation journeys within the organisation, supporting the delivery of effective service management through the definition and adoption of a governance practice that uses KPIs and metrics to track and measure the quality of service.
You’ll work for the Head of DR in the development of the global strategy for Santander UK Infrastructure, designing and providing DR testing events, supporting the provision of project cost estimates for new initiatives, whilst working with third party vendors, helping to adopt new technologies and drive contract efficiency.

This is a permanent role to be based at our Unity Place office, Milton Keynes.
We want our people to thrive at work and home and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
If you apply for this role in this location, it’s important you consider your travelling distance, time and cost from your home to the office location.

1st Stage – A 60 minute remote interview comprising of Technical questions
2nd Stage – A 60 minute face to face (or virtual interview) including a range of Competency based questions
