Job summary

An e-commerce business seeks a Disaster Recovery Specialist for a 3-month contract based in Yorkshire. This role includes building and testing disaster recovery frameworks for cloud-native and legacy systems. Qualifications

• Experience supporting software delivery or application development environments.
• Exposure to legacy .NET platforms and complex infrastructure estates.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, large-scale organisations.

Responsibilities

• Building, testing and embedding a robust disaster recovery framework across both cloud-native and legacy systems.
• Working across a broad stack including Azure infrastructure, legacy .NET applications and headless commerce platforms.
• Liaising with software delivery teams to align DR planning with ongoing development and deployment.
• Providing recommendations that balance resilience, cost, and complexity in a fast-paced environment.
• Uplifting documentation and assurance across the estate.

Harvey Nash is working with a major name in the e-commerce space as they strengthen their disaster recovery capability across an estate spanning Azure, legacy .NET applications and modern headless commerce platforms.

This is a hands-on contract role focused on building, testing and embedding a robust disaster recovery framework across both cloud-native and legacy systems.

Things you will be doing:
