About the Role

Our Supported Independent Living services help individuals live comfortably and independently in shared housing or in their home, offering assistance with daily tasks such as personal care and meal preparation. These supports are most suitable to individuals who can work flexibly across a 24/7 roster. Ability to work sleepovers is REQUIRED.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients through personal care (such as bathing, shaving, and toileting)
  • Deliver active support to clients with complex needs, including behavioural and medical challenges
  • Adapt support to each person’s unique goals and preferences, guided by person-centred plans
  • Keep detailed records to track progress and respond to changing needs with care
  • Promote client independence through choice, voice, and inclusion in the community

Skills & Experience

  • Experience with behaviours of concern and mental health supports required
  • A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
  • An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop

Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
