Job summary

University of Chester is seeking a full-time Disability Support Officer to join our Disability and Inclusion team within Student Services. You will work directly with disabled students and applicants to ensure they can access reasonable adjustments for living and studying independently.

A degree (or equivalent) and experience of working with disabled people, plus excellent communication and problem-solving skills, are essential.

You will work directly with disabled students and applicants to ensure they are able to access reasonable adjustments to live and study independently.

A degree (or equivalent level qualification), experience of working with disabled people and excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with an ability to work in a demanding environment to meet tight deadlines. A good working knowledge of support for disabled students in Higher Education is essential.

The post will be based at our Chester campus, but you will be expected to work flexibly across the University sites with an element of homeworking.
