Job summary

iGo Recruitment is recruiting Functional Assessors for a hybrid role based between your home and the Newport assessment centre.

You will conduct structured health assessments for PIP and WCA, review medical evidence, and produce clear, evidence-based reports. Full-time posts are available and part-time applications may be considered. Salary ranges £45,000–£48,000 with weekday hours 9am–5pm and no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional with current regulation (NMC/HCPC/GPhC)
• At least 12 months post-registration clinical experience
• Eligibility to work in the UK; DBS checks
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening

Responsibilities

• Complete structured assessments for PIP/WCA.
• Review medical evidence and write concise reports.
• Use IT systems to input data and manage records.
• Work in a hybrid setup between home and Newport centre.
