Job summary

Our client, a well-established engineering services company in Sheffield, is seeking an experienced Dirty Water Pump Engineer to service, maintain, and repair dirty water and waste water pump systems on-site.

You will work mainly on-site with occasional travel, and enjoy a competitive salary with overtime. A company vehicle, tools and equipment are provided, with long-term opportunities within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Experience with dirty water, sewage, or waste water pumps.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills (and electrical fault-finding where applicable).
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of dirty water/waste water pumps.
• Faultfinding and diagnostics on pump systems.
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance.
• Completing job reports and maintaining high service standards.

Job description

Our client, a well-established engineering services company based in Sheffield are looking for an experienced Dirty Water Pump Engineer to join their growing team. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing dirty water and waste water pump systems. Some travel may be required for servicing purposes but the role is mainly site based.

Hours

Monday to Thursday (Apply online only) & Friday (Apply online only) with regular overtime available.

Salary

£43,000 basic + OTE

(Overtime is paid at time and a half for the first 4 hours and then double for anything after this.)

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of dirty water / waste water pumps
• Fault finding and diagnostics on pump systems
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance
• Completing job reports and maintaining high service standards

Requirements

• Experience working with dirty water, sewage, or waste water pumps
