Job summary

Beach Baker seeks a Director to lead valuations, advisory and corporate recovery in London. The role works closely with the Managing Director to shape strategy, win new instructions and build a London team. An MRICS Registered Valuer with a strong property network is essential.

The candidate will drive growth, manage key client relationships and deliver strategic valuation solutions across commercial assets, with a track record in corporate recovery or distressed assets highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification and RICS Registered Valuer status.
• Minimum 5 years’ post‑qualification valuation experience.
• Strong network within the property sector and ability to win new business.
• Leadership, mentoring or team management experience.
• Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset with capability to grow London operations.

Beach Baker is delighted to be partnering with an ambitious and growing property consultancy seeking a Director to help drive the next phase of its growth within London.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced MRICS Registered Valuer to join a highly entrepreneurial business and play a key role in establishing and expanding its London presence. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will help shape business strategy, develop client relationships, win new instructions and build a team around you.

The role would particularly suit an individual with a background in valuation, corporate recovery, restructuring, distressed assets or LPA Receivership who is looking for greater autonomy and the opportunity to have a genuine influence on the future direction of a business.

The Opportunity

• Work closely with the Managing Director to grow and develop the firm's London operation.
• Build and strengthen relationships with lenders, insolvency practitioners, investors, asset managers and property owners.

About You

• MRICS qualification and RICS Registered Valuer status.
• At least 5 years' post-qualification valuation experience.
• A strong network within the property sector and an ability to develop new business opportunities.
• Experience advising on commercial property assets and complex valuation matters.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous leadership, mentoring or team management experience.
• A commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience within corporate recovery, restructuring, insolvency, distressed assets or LPA Receivership would be highly advantageous.
