ROLE PROFILE:

This role is within the Infrastructure and Cloud - Networks Products & Services of LSEG. The team manages the architecture and design standards for global network services and products, supporting a hybrid multi-cloud strategy.

This senior technical position focuses on telemetry and automation for LAN, WAN, DDI, load balancing, NTP, proxy, firewall, and security services. The Director, Telemetry, will manage telemetry systems and automation tools, driving their development, enhancement, and integration to monitor system health, performance, and security, and to improve operational efficiency.

The role requires a blend of architecture, design, governance, and consultation to produce Network Service Architectures, Designs, and Standards aligned with business needs. The candidate should follow industry-standard development frameworks and be able to articulate network features, translate business requirements into technical outcomes, and participate effectively in multi-disciplinary meetings.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Proven director-level experience.
  • 5+ years in product management, especially in telemetry, monitoring, or automation.
  • Experience managing complex technical products in software, IT operations, or cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with telemetry tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic) and automation platforms (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa.
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making and performance metrics.
  • Strong project management skills for handling multiple initiatives.
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
