Position: Director of Technology Transformation and Architecture

A prominent organization in the region seeks an experienced technology leader to spearhead enterprise-wide transformation and develop a future-oriented architecture strategy. This role combines business and technology, aiming to reimagine operations, foster innovation, and deliver measurable outcomes through modern, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Define and lead the technology transformation roadmap aligned with enterprise strategic goals.
2. Assess digital maturity and implement initiatives to enhance digital adoption.
3. Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate technological capabilities into business strategies.
4. Oversee enterprise and business architecture across data, applications, technology, and processes.
5. Establish architecture models, frameworks, standards, and governance practices.
6. Communicate the technology vision and strategy organization-wide.
7. Lead a team of enterprise architects, business architects, and innovation leads.
8. Identify and incubate innovation opportunities, including AI solutions via Centers of Excellence.
9. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance.
10. Create business capability models, value stream maps, journey maps, and investment roadmaps.
11. Promote a culture of innovation, transformation, and cross-functional collaboration.
12. Advise senior stakeholders on enterprise technology decisions and investments.

Requirements

1. 15+ years in IT leadership, focusing on enterprise architecture and transformation.
2. 8+ years across multiple architecture domains (business, data, solution, infrastructure).
3. 4+ years in solution development, technical architecture, and application integration.
4. Proven success in leading large-scale digital transformation programs.
5. Strong knowledge of frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
6. Experience in innovation strategy and scaling Centers of Excellence.
7. Familiarity with modern stacks: SaaS, PaaS, APIs, microservices, analytics.
8. Excellent strategic planning, program management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
9. Effective communication skills for influencing senior leadership and boards.
10. Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant fields; certifications preferred.
11. Experience in retail or consumer sectors is advantageous.
