Role Overview

We are seeking talented Directors with experience in:

1. Deep tax compliance, automation, and reporting expertise, especially around indirect taxes and EMEA compliance
2. End-to-end finance processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Record-to-report) and their integration with tax
3. Advising on tax technology to support compliance and reporting
4. Tax technology implementation, including requirements gathering and design review
5. Tax transformation, governance, process design, and improvement
6. Project management and client engagement

Desirable skills include:

1. Data management, databases, data transmission, and transformation, including SQL
2. Analyzing large data volumes
3. Designing cloud-based tax applications
4. Liaising between technology and tax teams
5. Leading tax transformation projects as part of broader finance transformation
6. Developing automation solutions for tax
7. Designing systems addressing multi-country tax requirements
8. Collaborating across teams within KPMG
9. Developing governance frameworks and service offerings
10. Building and maintaining client relationships
11. Performance management and overseeing offshore teams
12. Identifying additional service opportunities and providing coaching and support

Deep experience in technology and automation, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, strong networking, business development, and project management capabilities, and the ability to manage workloads effectively.
