Job summary

Fitch Ratings is seeking a Director-level Credit Analyst to join the European Structured Finance team based in Manchester. You will assess transactions backed by mortgage loans, consumer loans, and corporate loan facilities, including CLOs, delivering high-quality opinions that support investors and markets.

Ideal candidates are highly numerate and analytical, with advanced Excel skills and prior finance experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in finance or risk analysis.
• Knowledge of securitisation structures, CLOs beneficial.
• Candidates should be highly numerate and analytical with sharp attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modeling.
• Review transaction legal documents.
• On-site review of underwriting and servicing of originators and CLO managers.
• Prepare rating proposals for internal rating committees.
• Communicate rating rationale to investors and other market participants.
• Communicate with transaction arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics and structural features.
• Assist in the development of criteria and supporting research.
