The role involves influencing both the technical direction and the commercial success of this respected consultancy.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Providing strategic leadership and direction across all structural engineering operations.
2. Overseeing the delivery of complex and high-value projects from concept to completion.
3. Strengthening and growing client relationships, acting as a key representative of the business.
4. Mentoring and developing a high-performing technical team.
5. Leading business development initiatives, including bids, proposals, and market expansion.
6. Ensuring design excellence, quality assurance, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
7. Collaborating with other directors to set and achieve business targets, including financial performance reporting directly into the MD.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have a proven track record of delivering complex structural projects, managing multidisciplinary teams, and possess excellent commercial acumen with P&L responsibilities.
