Job Description

We are the firm's fastest-growing office with over 200 professionals. What you will be doing in the role -

1. You will be expected to take strategic responsibility for the Stamp Taxes practice and grow the business through leveraging internal opportunities and building external referral networks.
2. Supporting the Real Estate Team and the wider practice.
3. Working with a variety of people across many parts of the business.
4. Expected to structure the Stamp Taxes team to facilitate continued training and development for key staff members.
5. Improving technical enhancement for the practice as a whole.
6. Establishing good practices for other parts of the business engaging with the Stamp Taxes team and build relationships with HMRC Stamp Taxes.
7. You will take ultimate responsibility for the delivery of complex Stamp Taxes assignments for the firm.

Qualifications

Key Experience

1. Significant experience in Stamp Taxes gained from practice and/or industry.
2. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) and/or CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA, e.g. law qualification).
3. Client driven and commercially minded.
4. Strong awareness of other key taxes and, in particular, for the Real Estate sector.
5. Excellent project management, working with various teams.
6. Demonstrable experience of managing people and clients.
7. Excellent communicator.
8. Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
