Director, SSO Product Commercialization (Ref#SSO00204)

Title and Summary
The Director, SSO Product Commercialization, leads Mastercard's efforts in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for over 110 products within the Security Solutions (SSO) group, which focuses on Cyber Security, Identity, Fraud & Decisioning Solutions, and Experience and Disputes. This role reports to the Vice President of Commercialization and involves managing product commercialization strategies across one of the four domains, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and optimize product commercialization processes to accelerate market entry.
  2. Ensure adherence to the commercialization methodology to turn concepts into market-ready products that generate financial returns.
  3. Coordinate with product managers and stakeholders to support the product lifecycle and improve business outcomes.
  4. Create and manage comprehensive go-to-market plans tailored for global deployment with regional considerations.
  5. Collaborate with regional teams to execute strategies and optimize revenue.
  6. Align product portfolios with global and regional teams to identify synergies and market opportunities.
  7. Maintain documentation to support knowledge sharing and process consistency.
  8. Develop strategic narratives for the domain and assess market landscapes to identify customer needs.
  9. Work with cross-functional teams to expand and deploy solutions into new markets and use cases.
  10. Engage with industry leaders, analysts, clients, and partners on topics like Financial Crime Risk Management, Digital Fraud, and Cyber Risks.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in product development and commercialization, with strong process implementation skills.
  • Understanding of product management principles; familiarity with Mastercard's Studio process is a plus.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear narratives.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of technical product development and financial concepts, including pricing and business case development.
  • Ability to build relationships across diverse teams and geographies.
  • Demonstrated initiative and accountability in challenging environments.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
