Job summary

SJS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Leader for an International FMCG manufacturing site in Northwest England. You will assume overall responsibility for the site, lead the Senior Leadership Team, and drive performance and a culture of accountability.

You will stabilise, develop and grow the operation through a significant period of transformation, making difficult decisions, building a strong team, and delivering meaningful change across the site.

Are you an experienced Operations Leader with a strong background in FMCG manufacturing? We’re looking for a strong operational leader with a proven track record of leading teams, driving performance, and creating a clear direction across an FMCG manufacturing environment.

You’ll take overall responsibility for the site, leading the SLT, developing people and creating a culture of accountability and high performance. You’ll need a strong leadership presence, commercial awareness, confidence to make decisions, and have difficult conversations when required.

The site is going through a significant period of transformation - this is an opportunity for someone to make a genuine impact. We’re looking for someone with experience operating within a complex, fast paced manufacturing environment and the ability to lead effectively through change.
