Job summary

Quadient is seeking a Director, Security Architecture to establish and lead security architecture across our global engineering teams. You’ll partner with CISO, product, and platform teams to embed security from design through delivery, guiding threat modelling, SDLC hardening and AI security guardrails.

You’ll influence architecture decisions, drive risk-based controls, and shape security principles and reference architectures for cloud, on-premises, and legacy environments while balancing

Qualifications

• Significant experience in security architecture or security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of product and application security, including secure SDLC.
• Cloud and platform security expertise with on-premise and legacy environments.
• Ability to influence engineering and product teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define security architecture direction across Quadient, embedding security from design to delivery.
• Lead security architecture reviews across products, APIs, data solutions and platforms.
• Drive threat-led security using threat modelling and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
• Shape security across the software delivery lifecycle, including SDLC, vulnerability management and assurance.
• Lead AI security architecture, defining guardrails for AI/GenAI solutions.
• Partner with engineering on AppSec tooling and automation (SAST, DAST, IaC, secrets).
• Work across cloud, on-prem, and legacy environments balancing security, risk and business needs.
• Act as trusted security advisor to technical and business stakeholders globally.
