This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Algolia. We are currently looking for a Director, Sales – North EMEA in London.

In this high-impact leadership role, you'll drive the sales strategy and execution across the North EMEA region, with a priority on the UK market. You will lead and grow a distributed team of Account Executives, while taking hands-on ownership of regional sales performance, pipeline management, and strategic go-to-market initiatives. You'll bring deep enterprise sales experience and value-based selling expertise to a dynamic, high-growth environment. With an emphasis on coaching, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration, this role offers the chance to shape regional growth in a fast-paced tech landscape.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and develop the North EMEA sales team (~7–8 AEs) based in London and Paris.
  • Drive sales growth with full ownership over pipeline management, regional forecasts, and new revenue targets.
  • Execute a go-to-market strategy with strong cross-functional collaboration, prioritizing the UK, followed by BeNeLux and Nordics.
  • Actively recruit, retain, and mentor top-performing sales talent.
  • Represent the company externally to educate and inform key markets across the region.
  • Engage in strategic planning by analyzing current performance and deeply understanding the product’s value to customers.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales leadership experience in the North EMEA region.
  • Proven track record in managing enterprise sales teams within a growth-focused, quarterly-driven environment.
  • Mastery of value-based sales methodologies and structured sales processes.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to pipeline forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, and retain top sales talent.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with remote teams and cross-functional partners.
  • Deep alignment with values such as grit, candor, humility, trust, and care.
  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
  • Hybrid-remote flexibility in line with a high-trust workplace model.
  • Access to state-of-the-art offices in London and other global hubs.
  • Personal and professional development in a supportive, fast-growing company.
  • A values-driven culture focused on inclusion, autonomy, and impact.
  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge API solutions and a highly regarded product.
