Role overview:

As the Head of Risk & Vulnerable Customer Strategy, you will develop and manage a comprehensive risk strategy that balances commercial benefits, legislative compliance, and minimized risk exposure across the organisation’s portfolio.

This role offers the chance to lead a function that has a real impact—shaping risk frameworks and ensuring vulnerable customers receive support. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborate with senior leaders, and contribute significantly to our success.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive the Vulnerable Customer Strategy and ensure it remains best-in-class.
• Establish and lead a Centre of Excellence (CoE) to enhance capabilities and align efforts across the business through a structured, programmatic approach.
• Influence Executive and Senior Management by embedding simple, repeatable processes to improve customer outcomes.
• Leverage strategic charitable partnerships for effective collaboration and impact.
• Act as a subject matter expert to build organisational capability.

What we’re looking for:

• Extensive experience in risk management, governance, and commercial strategy.
• Proven track record in developing customer-focused strategies, especially for vulnerable customers.
• Strong leadership skills to build and manage a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with executive and senior management.
• A results-driven approach balancing commercial objectives and customer outcomes.
