Job summary

Hays Construction and Property is seeking an experienced Director-level Quantity Surveyor to lead the delivery of Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services across a varied portfolio in Scotland. You will manage key client relationships, drive business development, and provide strategic cost advice on major projects.

You will lead, mentor and develop project teams while supporting the regional leadership to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline required.
• MRICS chartered status or significant equivalent industry experience.
• Extensive consultancy-side Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience operating at Director or senior leadership level.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrable business development and work-winning experience.
• Excellent commercial awareness and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services.
• Managing and developing key client accounts.
• Identifying and securing new business opportunities.
