Director - Quantity Surveying (Healthcare)

Location: London or Cambridge (with flexible working)

Salary: Up to £100,000 PA + bonus + benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in the Healthcare sector within a growing Project & Cost consultancy. The business plan to grow and to achieve a turnover of £20m over the next 5 years. Expansion is already underway, including a new regional office, and the focus is now on scaling alternative sectors such as Healthcare and Life Sciences.

My client is looking for an experienced Associate / Director with a strong background in Healthcare projects.

This individual will take ownership of the sector, supported by leadership, and build on an existing track record and small pipeline in private healthcare. The expectation is not to bring work in on day one, but to have a clear vision and ambition for developing the Healthcare offering within the wider business strategy.

This role offers a real opportunity to take the lead in building a £1m+ Healthcare sub-sector, with a clear path to Partnership for those who successfully develop and manage their area of the business.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a strong and demonstrable background in Healthcare projects, whether private or public
• Be motivated to lead a sector and build a pipeline with support from senior leadership
• Possess the ambition and long-term vision to grow a specialist team
• Work collaboratively with other sector leads in Education, Lifesciences, and more
• Be comfortable creating and delivering a strategic business plan over a number of years

The role offers flexibility in location, with the option to be based in either London or Cambridge, or a combination of both.

They appreciate that sector growth takes time. Rather than aggressive KPIs, they will work with you to set a realistic plan and monitor progress over the long term.
