Job summary

Tes Global is recruiting a Director of Programme Delivery to lead Tes Institute's teacher training and professional development programmes on a global scale. You will guide strategic direction, partner with educational leaders, and ensure high-quality delivery across diverse programmes.

You will work with Heads of Programme Delivery to drive growth, compliance, and learner outcomes while representing Tes Institute with external bodies and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Substantial education leadership experience with strategic and operational experience across teaching, learning, curriculum and delivery.
• Proven strategic leadership in a senior team delivering learner progress and business outcomes.
• Significant experience delivering and managing teacher training and development programmes.
• Experience leading through Ofsted or other regulatory inspections.
• Experience in managing and developing teams with coaching and influencing skills.
• Experience leading strategic programme growth and alignment with commercial objectives.
• External representation as a sector expert or thought leader in teacher training.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic and operational delivery of outstanding teacher training and development education within Tes Institute programmes.
• Lead growth and development of a programme portfolio aligned with learner needs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage Heads of Programme Delivery and ensure high-quality, compliant delivery across programmes.
• Coordinate across programmes for consistency, efficacy and optimal use of skills.
• Identify needs and build capacity within the team.
• Develop leadership and succession planning for programme leaders.
• Engage with external relationships (Ofsted, international bodies, DfE) and ensure performance scrutiny.
• Represent Tes Institute with sector bodies and stakeholders to strengthen profile and influence.
• Collaborate with wider Tes functions to ensure compliant delivery at all stages.
• Provide industry expertise to leadership to manage relationships and growth opportunities.
• Provide safeguarding leadership as part of the safeguarding team.
