Introduction to the team:

We create and deliver an aligned, dedicated marketing strategy to fuel each Expedia Group brand's success. Since our travelers interact with us through our brands, we have a brand focus in our marketing, while leveraging the scale and efficiency we’ve built in functional expertise.

Expedia Group is seeking a Director of Product Management to drive our SEO/Organic Search product team within the Marketing organization. In this high-impact role, you will manage a team of product managers focused on driving organic traffic acquisition across traditional search engines and emerging answer engines (AI search). Your work will shape how millions of travelers discover Expedia Group brands, leveraging deep search expertise, scalable content solutions, and platform capabilities to improve performance and relevance.

You’ll bring a strong SEO/Search product mindset, technical depth in content systems and data-driven platforms, and a passion for solving visibility and discovery challenges. You will collaborate closely with partners in Engineering, ML, Analytics, UX, and SEO Strategy to deliver search-centric solutions at scale.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead SEO Product Strategy: Own and evolve the product strategy for Organic Search across Expedia Group brands while aligning closely with Marketing, Landing Page Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams.

  • Manage a High-Performing Team: Guide a team of product managers in developing solutions that improve organic visibility and drive non-paid traffic growth.

  • Innovate Across Search Surfaces: Build and scale SEO experiences across traditional landing pages and new surfaces including answer engines, GenAI modules, and dynamic content formats.

  • Drive Experimentation: Foster a test-and-learn culture, designing experiments to identify winning structures, formats, and features that enhance search performance.

  • Optimize for Performance: Establish data-driven frameworks to prioritize opportunities, set KPIs, and drive measurable growth in organic traffic and traveler engagement.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Act as the connective tissue across SEO Strategy, Content, Engineering, Analytics, and Partner Teams to deliver cohesive and scalable solutions.

Experience and qualifications:

  • 10+ years of product management or similar experience with a strong track record in Search Marketing, content platforms, or growth-related product roles

  • Proven leadership in managing product teams and influencing across large, matrixed organizations

  • Deep understanding of SEO fundamentals; including crawlability, indexation, internal linking, metadata, query mapping, and scalable content systems

  • Strong data literacy and ablility to explore and interpret SEO performance data via tools like Querybook, Tableau, or SQL to make informed decisions

  • Skilled at balancing speed and rigor, especially in testing and iteration environments

  • Capable of business case framing—quantifying traffic and ROI opportunities to influence stakeholders and prioritize investments

  • Familiarity with content experience design, and how tone, traveler intent, and structure influence organic performance

  • Effective communicator and cross-functional partner, able to rally teams around a vision and drive coordinated execution
