Kantata is well-capitalized, continuously hiring, and rapidly growing our loyal and diversified customer base. We are recognized as an employee-rated Best Place to Work, providing a dynamic work environment with a team that is passionate about what they do.

Position Summary

Kantata is seeking a Director of Product Management to drive our product strategy—identifying customer pain points and uncovering opportunities for revenue growth through innovative new products. You will help us shape and lead the industry with products that deliver new insights and ways of working to elevate the professional services industry. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will lead the vision and roadmap for some of our existing products focused on analytics and new data insights, owning our global data strategy, while helping identify new AI-fueled products that deliver revenue growth. The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership and strong commercial management with hands-on problem-solving skills, delivering measurable results and fostering innovation.

In this role, you will engage closely with customers and partners, collaborating with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to execute a commercial strategy that exceeds business goals. We’re looking for a dynamic leader, who can excite and lead, with a proven track record of rapidly delivering innovative solutions across complex B2B SaaS platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Customer-Centric Innovation: Engage directly with customers to understand their challenges, identify pain points, and uncover opportunities to deliver transformative, value-driven solutions.
  2. Develop and Deliver a Unified Data Strategy: Create a cohesive data strategy across our existing products, including Insight-driven products on Tableau and GoodData.
  3. Revenue Growth - New Product Innovation: Identify and develop new product innovations to capitalize on revenue opportunities, taking accountability for executing the commercial strategy and launching new products.
  4. Product Roadmap Development: Set priorities and construct an actionable roadmap, spearheading the advancement of AI-driven optimization for professional services.
  5. Cross-Product Synergies: Promote a 'deliver once' strategy across technologies and products to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  6. Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with engineering, product management, sales, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment and successful execution, inspiring teams along the way.

Is this role right for you?

Why this role may be for you:
  • Thrive on engaging with customers, actively listening to uncover real pain points and value.
  • Push boundaries, think big, and drive bold innovation.
  • Lead with energy, inspiring teams and customers with new ideas and transformative solutions.
  • Navigate complexity with confidence, driving alignment across multiple internal teams—pushing Sales to sell, Marketing to amplify, and Engineering to execute for success.
Why this role may not be for you:
  • Prefer simple products and customers where direct engagement is not always necessary.
  • Focus primarily on detailed, hands-on execution rather than high-level strategy.
  • Wait to be led rather than taking charge and driving excitement.
  • Avoid challenging teams to move faster, deliver results, and ensure market impact.

What You Bring To The Role

  • A bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive breadth and depth of knowledge in product strategy, with a strength in bringing new products to market within the SaaS industry.
  • Strong commercial thinking and experience of strategies to deliver revenue growth.
  • A strong understanding of data-driven strategies and associated technologies.
  • Ability to translate high-level visions into practical, actionable solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and understanding emerging trends.
  • Strong ability to engage with customers and understand their business needs to drive product development and innovation.
  • Ability to see the big picture, understand different technologies, and align teams around a unified strategy.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and drive innovation across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to articulate strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information

The ideal candidate will be based in GMT, though all East Coast USA candidates will also be considered.
