Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG) consists of approximately 400 professionals and is recognized as a leading independent adviser in the infrastructure sector across the UK. The group operates on a national level.

Power & Utilities (P&U) is a major sector within IAG, providing strategic and technical advice on business planning, regulatory policy, economic regulation, and energy policy to create value for shareholders and customers. We are industry leaders shaping the future of utilities.

Our P&U division is expanding rapidly, with double-digit growth over the past decade. We seek to appoint a Director to our Energy Regulation & Policy team to support growth and develop new service lines.

The Role

The Director will lead the Energy Regulation & Policy team, collaborating with other leaders within IAG P&U. This role offers a chance to influence the team's direction, expand market presence, and develop new client services.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead our Energy Regulation & Policy offerings, establishing thought leadership and market presence.
  • Shape and drive propositions to capitalize on sector opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop team members, managing performance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a sector expert.
  • Foster partnerships within P&U and across the firm; support market strategies.
  • Lead client engagements, producing high-quality documentation and presentations.
  • Maintain technical expertise in energy sector policies and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with KPMG's quality and risk standards.
  • Develop sector-specific market intelligence.
  • Perform additional duties appropriate to senior leadership.
