Job description
The Infrastructure team consists of around 400 professionals and is recognized as a leading independent adviser in business, financial, and regulatory sectors within infrastructure.
We provide advice on strategic, financial, regulatory, and commercial issues affecting investments in infrastructure worldwide, including market and policy design, economic analysis, deal structuring, and strategic advice.
Power & Utilities (P&U) is a major part of the Infrastructure team, working with large clients in the energy and water sectors in the UK and Europe, offering expertise in corporate finance, regulation, business planning, and benchmarking.
We seek high-quality candidates to support our growth and develop new service lines, building on existing work.
The Role
The candidate should have extensive knowledge of the UK water and energy sectors, experience in cost and performance assessment, cost modelling, business transformation, and transactions, along with a proven track record in professional services, leadership, and client engagement.
This role involves collaboration within P&U and across KPMG, maintaining strong relationships, and leading advice on major projects, operating at senior levels, and growing the business.
Services include analyzing company performance, benchmarking costs, business case development, supporting transformations, and conducting due diligence.
Responsibilities
Leading advice on projects, engaging with senior stakeholders, business development, recruiting talent, ensuring quality, and strategic planning within P&U.
Business development includes building relationships with companies and regulators, promoting services, and developing thought leadership.
