Job summary

Meadow High School in the Hillingdon area is seeking a Director of Welfare, Attendance, Relationships and Safeguarding to lead the Welfare Team and oversee Attendance and Home liaison, with responsibility as Designated Senior Lead for Safeguarding (DSL).

The post is permanent, 36 hours per week, term time plus training days and school holiday weeks, with a salary of £48,907–£53,177 per annum plus £1,568 Special Schools Allowance, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Will lead the Welfare Team, Attendance, Home liaison and DSL responsibilities.
• Demonstrates understanding of safeguarding processes and procedures.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Ability to work with pupils, parents and staff with tact and empathy.
