Government Recruitment Service in Birmingham is hiring a Head of Transaction Finance on a permanent, full-time basis. The role combines strategic finance leadership with hands-on month-end delivery in a hybrid setting with 2 days remote.

The ideal candidate holds a recognised CCAB/CIMA qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIPFA/CIMA) and has substantial experience in a finance function, delivering month-end at scale, with accountability for people, control, risk and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised CCAB or CIMA professional accountancy qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or CIMA, with membership of the relevant body.
• Have recent, substantial experience of working within a finance function and delivering month-end at scale, with accountability for people, service performance, financial controls, risk management and process improvement.

Responsabilités

• Drive robust financial controls and risk management across the function.
• Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality of reporting.
