Job summary

The Leys School in Cambridge is seeking a Director of Tennis to lead the strategic development of tennis across the school, driving participation and performance. The role includes building a sustainable commercial tennis offer, maximizing facility use, and engaging with the local community to enhance income and opportunities for pupils and staff.

Applicants should have coaching excellence, safeguarding awareness, and experience managing coaches and budgets within a school or club setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Coaching Award.
• Current LTA accreditation.
• Appropriate safeguarding training and First-aid qualification.
• Experience coaching tennis teams at a high level and developing/leading a high-quality tennis programme.
• Experience of budget management and financial planning.
• Experience of recruiting, managing and developing coaches.

• Strategic leadership and development of tennis at The Leys.
• Drive engagement and achievement across the school.
• Create a thriving, ambitious tennis programme with broad participation and excellence in performance.
• Develop a high-quality, financially sustainable commercial tennis programme using school facilities.
• Engage with the wider community and generate additional income for the school.
