Job summary

RaptorTech Recruitment Ltd. is partnering with a Norwich-based business to appoint a Technology Director for the senior leadership team. The role steers Data, AI, Infrastructure and Development and owns the technology roadmap to support continued growth.

You will work with senior stakeholders to identify how technology can improve efficiency, create commercial value and back new client opportunities, while guiding the team through AI, automation and emerging tech adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a broad technology function or major transformation.
• Strong understanding of software, cloud and infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of data, architecture and integrations.
• Practical experience with AI, automation and emerging technology.
• Experience building and delivering technology roadmaps.
• Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence working with senior leaders and clients.

Job description

I am working with a successful and scaling Norwich-based business that is looking to appoint a Technology Director to join its senior leadership team.

The business is moving from being digitally native to adopt more AI practice, embedding AI, automation, data and technology more deeply across the organisation.

You will lead the Data, AI, Infrastructure and Development teams, own the technology roadmap and make sure the business has the platforms, capability and structure to support continued growth.

You will also act as an ambassador for technology across the business, working with senior stakeholders to identify where technology can improve efficiency, create commercial value and support new client opportunities.

What you need:

• Experience leading a broad technology function or major transformation
• Strong understanding of software, cloud and infrastructure
• Good knowledge of data, architecture and integrations
• Practical experience with AI, automation and emerging technology
• Experience building and delivering technology roadmaps
• Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills
