Director of Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing

Location: Europe (Hybrid)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

LBMA is seeking an experienced leader to head its work on sustainability and responsible sourcing. The role sits at the core of our market strategy – advancing global standards, engaging with international stakeholders, and overseeing our programmes for responsible supply chains.

We are looking for a senior professional with:

  • a deep understanding of precious metals markets, compliance & assurance
  • experience in international supply chain standards, global regulatory frameworks, and ESG standards
  • a proven track record in a leadership role, leading teams and delivering complex, high-profile programmes
  • strong communication, advocacy and stakeholder engagement skills

What to expect:

  • We will take a few weeks to review and sift all applications
  • If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to the first round via Teams
  • Second round will be held ideally in person at our London office
  • Final round will be with the CEO and a member of the Board
