About the team

You’ll lead our Operations team, which includes people, talent, and strategy. Additionally, you will oversee support and growth teams, collaborating with senior leadership to make Argent a top workplace and industry innovator. Our goal is to attract and retain exceptional Argonauts and provide a foundation for everyone to excel.

As our Director of Strategy & Operations, you will:

• Own all of Argent’s internal operations, ensuring a high-performance organization driven by clear strategy and goals.
• Assist founders in strategy and scaling operations.
• Ensure well-defined strategies with clear goals communicated across the business.
• Continuously improve our people processes to maintain top employee retention.
• Lead projects such as coaching, learning and development programs, and management training.
• Work closely with founders to shape and improve company culture and performance.
• Align product, marketing, engineering, support, and ecosystem teams with strategic objectives.
• Start with minimal viable processes and iterate.
• Execute quickly on ideas and iterate based on feedback.

Your experience should include:

• 5+ years in a technology startup.
• Experience working with founders and executing with a product focus.
• Strong operational management skills and results-driven leadership.
• STEM background preferred; data-driven approach.
• Experience leading distributed teams.

You might also have:

• Experience in remote-first startups.
• 2+ years in Strategy Consulting or investment banking.
• Knowledge of blockchain and Layer 2 networks.
• Program and Project Management skills to facilitate communication and remove roadblocks.
