Entrust seeks a Director of Software Development to lead the R&D organization responsible for building the Agentic Trust solution. Translate the four-plane architecture into an executable development strategy, operating model, and product roadmap.

Accountable for engineering execution, talent, quality, security, delivery predictability, and readiness across the platform. Working with senior leaders, this role drives cohesive, scalable capabilities for identity, authorization, policy enforcement,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 20+ years software development, including 10+ years leading managers or multiple teams.
• Experience delivering enterprise cloud or security products.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, cloud platforms, secure development, DevSecOps.
• Experience leading products with demanding security, privacy, or regulatory requirements.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and resolve cross-functional conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Software Development strategy and roadmap.
• Own delivery, product quality, security, and operational productivity.
• Lead cross-functional teams across platforms and products.
• Balance innovation with rigor for cryptographic and enterprise systems.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to executives.
