Job summary

DMWS seeks a Director of Services and Innovation to lead designated services across England and Wales, driving operational excellence, partner engagement and sustainable income growth. The role requires strategic oversight, people leadership, and a strong commercial mindset to deliver impact for the Armed Forces Community and frontline services.

Qualifications

Director-level leadership experience in multi-site, regional or national services.
Strong commercial judgement and financial literacy.
Credibility with commissioners, funders and senior stakeholders.
Experience across Defence, policing, NHS, charities, local government or commercial development.

Responsibilities

Operational performance, quality, safeguarding and service assurance.
Leadership of senior managers and dispersed teams.
Drive product, service and commercial innovation.
