As Director of Sales & Marketing, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them. I will safeguard these pillars and oversee strategic planning and development, ensuring all directives, practices, and initiatives are implemented, embraced, and adopted within the hotel/resort.
I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Sales & Marketing department to provide exceptional products and services within brand standards. My key role is to drive the right business at the right price to ensure the resort achieves its budgeted occupancy, rate, and revenue.
I will write and implement the marketing plan, manage contracting, set sales targets by segment, and develop strategies for clients and prospects. I will oversee advertising, sales, promotions, and publicity initiatives, working with the revenue manager to set rates, and direct the Sales & Marketing team.
I will continually focus on revenue generation and profile building for our resort, spa, and Six Senses. I will assess marketing strategies and tactics regularly to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
I will establish and deliver pre-set financial targets related to revenue, profitability, and ROIC.
I will operate the property in compliance with all legal, statutory, and financial requirements, ensuring proper documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security, safety protocols, communication, product and service standards, host management practices, and budget controls are maintained for successful hotel operation.
Qualifications: Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in hospitality or hotel sales and marketing, including direct supervisory experience over a sales team. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. More than five years’ experience in a senior sales and marketing role is preferred.
Strong experience of the London hotel market is required.
