As a Sr. Sales Engineer, you will work closely with the sales team and customers, leveraging your deep technical knowledge in AI to drive product adoption. Your responsibilities include articulating the technical value of our offerings, conducting product demos, and addressing customer technical requirements. This customer-facing role requires both technical expertise and excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA; Austin, TX; Boston, MA; or Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales Support: Partner with the sales team to understand customer needs, tailor solutions, and deliver technical presentations explaining our AI solutions.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in meetings, presentations, and workshops to understand their challenges and provide solutions.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide guidance during the sales cycle to ensure solutions meet requirements and business objectives.
  • Solution Design: Assist in defining and designing AI-driven solutions that integrate with existing systems.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical documentation, including solution architectures and proposals.
  • Collaboration: Work with customer success, sales operations, and product teams to provide feedback and shape future product enhancements.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of relevant technical, customer-facing experience (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Account Manager).
  • Proficiency in programming languages, especially Python.
  • Expertise in AI technologies like machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and/or computer vision.
  • Understanding of AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow; experience with Generative AI and LLMs is a plus.
  • Experience selling AI hardware or Silicon IP.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for innovation and proactive learning.

Compensation ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable pay, depending on experience, skills, education, background, and location.
