  • Act as NHG's key advisor on landlord health and safety matters, ensuring compliance with legislation (e.g., HSE guidelines) and fostering safe environments for residents and staff.
  • Oversee the internal audit function, delivering actionable insights to the Audit & Risk Committee and driving improvements in control environments.
  • Develop policies to address operational risks, including fire safety, contractor management, and third-party due diligence, ensuring alignment with NHG's risk appetite.
  • Partner with the Executive Board, Senior Leadership Team and HR to embed health and safety, risk awareness, and competency frameworks across NHG.
  • Implement systems to monitor and report on health and safety risks, ensuring transparency and swift resolution of issues impacting resident well-being.
