Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Director of Retail Consulting to advise retailers adopting Focal and lead the change management process to maximize Focal’s impact. Reporting to the VP of Customer Success, this role involves working with a portfolio of enterprise customers to maximize ROI and ensure alignment between Focal’s key stakeholders and our clients. The Director will also manage the Retail Consulting team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail consulting, change management, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

1. Consult with retail clients on optimizing Focal for their operations.
2. Lead change management initiatives during Focal adoption.
3. Enhance efficiency through process analysis and collaboration.
4. Identify and pursue opportunities for client expansion.
5. Manage the UK Retail Consulting team.
6. Build relationships with key stakeholders.
7. Collaborate across retail functions to maximize data value.
8. Contribute to product roadmap and prioritization based on customer feedback.
9. Address barriers to success proactively.
10. Understand client business, define success, and develop plans to exceed expectations.

Qualifications

1. 8+ years in retail consulting or change management, preferably in grocery.
2. Ability to engage with VP and C-level executives.
3. Knowledge of UK grocery market trends and strategies.
4. Proven operational planning and management skills.
5. Experience in streamlining structures for speed and efficiency.
6. Understanding of account management, customer success metrics, KPIs, and ROI.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
8. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
