Job summary

Dartmoor National Park Authority is seeking a Director of Resources to join our Senior Leadership Team and help drive the Authority’s new Vision for Dartmoor, Partnership Plan and Local Plan.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the post holder will provide strategic leadership across finance, people and organisational development, IT, governance and more, with a focus on increasing financial independence and sustainability, and supporting frontline teams to deliver our ambitions.

Qualifications

• Senior leader with a proven track record of managing complex organisations.
• Experience from commercial or charitable backgrounds is preferred.
• Strong financial, commercial and strategic leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across corporate resources as a member of the SLT.
• Develop innovative and sustainable income, commercial activity and asset management.
• Strengthen financial resilience while supporting frontline teams to deliver the vision.
• Guide governance, performance reporting and organisational culture across the Authority.
