Responsibilities

MARK/BTO is one of MARK's pillars, combining transversal and business line dedicated functions.

Its main responsibilities include steering the business development of MARK activities, driving their transformation, and overseeing operational chains, financials, and risks.

The role involves leading and supporting transformation, business development, optimization, and regulatory projects for the Global Markets Division, which the position reports to.

Projects may impact Trading, Sales, or Engineering teams and typically involve front office sponsorship, covering team organization, new process implementation, opportunity studies, program direction, and information systems change aligned with global strategy.

The candidate will maintain constant communication with the Front office, support functions, and control functions such as GBSU, RISQ, DFIN, CPLE, SEGL, DGLE.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading and supporting transformation, business development, optimization, and regulatory projects.
  2. Coordinating these projects within the division.
  3. Proposing solutions for these initiatives.
  4. Monitoring project budgets.
  5. Ensuring project timelines are respected.
  6. Raising alerts or risks related to project execution.

Profile required

  1. Strong project management and presentation skills, with the ability to understand client needs, scope missions, organize actions, meet deadlines, and manage budgets.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Working knowledge of financial products and the Sales & Trading environment.
  4. Autonomy in managing missions, knowing when to seek approval.
  5. Good organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize, synthesize, and analyze.
  6. Delivery skills to ensure timely completion and pragmatic solutions.
  7. Eagerness to learn new applications, tools, and processes.
  8. Proactive approach, ownership, and initiative.
  9. Clear reporting skills to management and stakeholders.
  10. Fluent in English and French.
