NHS Supply Chain is looking for a Director of Products & Platforms to oversee its critical Data and Technology transformation. NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Director of Products & Platforms to join our Data and Technology leadership team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first and to deliver against our strategic objectives.
We are currently finalising plans for a Supply Chain and IT Modernisation Programme to deliver the end to end modernisation of our logistics network and the replacement of our legacy IT estate with a modern ERP solution. This complex multi-year programme will simplify and transform all aspects of the business and is a key enabler for the delivery of the company vision and delivery of £1Billion of savings back into frontline NHS Services.
NHS Supply Chain IT is also currently transitioning to a Service Integration And Management (SIAM) model – OneIT – led by an internal team with four different Service Providers delivering the end to end suite of services across Service Integration and Helpdesk, Modern Workplace services, Infrastructure and Networks, Application Development, Support and Management and Cyber Security.
This is a critical time for the business as we embark on a major transformation programme whilst embedding a step-change in the approach to IT delivery, – reporting to the Data and Technology Executive Director, we are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Products & Platforms who will:
